Entourage Effect Between THC and CBD

Posted by on 11:34 pm in Cannabis, Edibles, Medical Marijuana, Review | 0 comments

Many of you have may have heard about the “entourage” effect between THC and CBD. I’ve recently been hearing from several people about it but haven’t been able to personally testify to the effects so I did my own test. I took one 10mg STRATOS ENERGY tablet and noted the effects. It was a mild effect, something I would call a micro dose for myself. I didn’t feel overwhelmed but it did provide me with pain relief and gave me a bit of focus. STRATOS tablets deliver a potent and favorable form of relief. Created by a...

New Product Review: 40mg Mountain High Sucker

Posted by on 8:21 pm in Cannabis, Edibles, Medical Marijuana, Review | 0 comments

As a regular medical cannabis user, I have found edibles are my overwhelming choice when I medicate. I also normally don’t consume more than 10 to 20 mg at a time. However, I’ve learned to check each edible before taking a higher dose but I don’t normally go over 40 mg at a time. As many know, you have to determine your dosing through trial and most patients who use other opiate medications often have to use a higher dose of edibles to get the same effect as someone who doesn’t use opiates.   Additionally, if you...

Interesting Article from Salon: “My aging parents smuggle medical marijuana” by Molly Kramer

Posted by on 11:55 pm in Aging, Cannabis, Medical Marijuana | 0 comments

Many of us have been touched by cancer so this won’t be a new story. What is new though is the people who are attempting to improve their quality of life through the use of cannabis. As quoted in the article, “Doctors called my dad the “Miracle Man” when cancer didn’t kill him. But then he needed something to help him live.” This is a story everyone needs to read because it is not “legal” everywhere and the places where it is legal are having challenges. In a nameless city in a nameless state, I...

5 Ways to Counteract an Intense High

If you find yourself “too high” there are several things you can do to help you alleviate the feeling. First no one has ever overdosed on cannabis! Don’t panic! Time is your friend in this kind of situation. Maybe find a quiet place to relax or sleep it off. Use caution when eating edibles, the only time I’ve over done it was with edibles so know your limits. Most new consumers/patients should start with 5 to 10 mg of an edible for the best experience. Wait at least an hour before you consume any more of the edible in...

Giesel: A Popular Strain

We have been growing giesel for many years and is one of the hardiest and best strains we’ve grown. Giesel is a well balanced strain is close to 50:50 sativa and indica ratio. This makes giesel a versatile and unique strain with a strong high and a nice taste. We would call this a creeper, so your high is not instant or fast acting like most. In the beginning the high is mellow and mild but don’t be fooled, the high slowly escalates in  strength. The strain is just slightly more sativa, meaning it gives it a happy high and...

What are Terpenes?

‘Terpenes’ is the new hip word of the medical marijuana movement. For those of you that haven’t jumped on the terpenes medical marijuana bandwagon, there is still time. It always blows my mind how many people are talking about terpenes and cannabis right now that have no idea what it really is. To see what I mean, just ask someone what the definition of terpenes is, and you will quickly see that about 99% of marijuana consumers don’t know. Terpenes (/ˈtɜːrpiːn/) are a large and diverse class of organic compounds, produced by a variety of...
