New Product Review: 40mg Mountain High Sucker

Mountain High SuckersAs a regular medical cannabis user, I have found edibles are my overwhelming choice when I medicate. I also normally don’t consume more than 10 to 20 mg at a time. However, I’ve learned to check each edible before taking a higher dose but I don’t normally go over 40 mg at a time. As many know, you have to determine your dosing through trial and most patients who use other opiate medications often have to use a higher dose of edibles to get the same effect as someone who doesn’t use opiates.

Additionally, if you use other forms of cannabis to medicate you often have a higher tolerance to edibles and could require a higher dose. But for me, I’ve found my sweet spot of 10 to 20 mg in a serving.

Last night, after work, I ate a Mixed Berry Mountain High Sucker with 30.40mg THC, 9.80mg CBD, .12mg CBN, and .72mg CBG. Although, I know my dosage is lower, I decided to go ahead and eat the entire sucker because it was very tasty. I waited for

about an hour to feel the effects, it was a nice mellow high, I got a bit of the giggles but I was relaxed, however, it did stimulate my appetite which isn’t good for my diet but I do tend to eat more healthy food when I get the munchies now. I went to bed early and slept well but woke up still feeling the effects of the sucker. I also know this is a sign for me this dose was too much. I think next time I’ll have to stop eating the sucker at about half way through, I would have enjoyed the edible’s effect more and wouldn’t have woke up still feeling high.
